- Elite-mare Zafarina (Galero x Facina)
The beautiful straight spanish arabian mare Zafarina (Galero x Facina), 1979-1999, foundation mare of the well-known “Z”-line of the Karolinenhof-Stud in Germany was named “Elite-mare” of the german arab horse association (VZAP).
Zafarina ist the mother of our foundation mare Kar Zarzarrosa and grandmother to KB Zaraguel and KB Zento. We are very proud to own three offsprings of this special mare! You can read more about Zafarina and her family here.
And for all the fans of spanish arabian horses: Also the unforgettable Gual Hassika (Pepete x Adelfa) is posthumously now carrying the title of an Elite-mare. And: The Blutbacher family is happy that her straight spanish mare Basara Sayiana (by Mel Nebli) carries now that precious title as well. Basara is mostly known as the mother of european champion stallion BS Specific, now living in France.
