A dreamlike coastal city, wonderful large horse facilities and a prize money of 170.000 Euro – those were the promising conditions for the first edition of the Ladoire Intercontinental Cup in Deauville, France. From 21st – 23rd of october arabian horse from all around the world came together in Deauville to compete against each other in an international C-show as well as in a champions trophy – where only horses were allowed to compete that were already international Gold or Silverchampions. A trophy for the best of the best.

The level of the horses competing in the different classes was so high that it was hard to believe it was „only“ a C-show. The champions were of such a good quality that they easily could compete in B- or A- shows throughout Europe. And some of the competitiors even had done that already in their junior years – such as All Nations Cup Reservechampion filly Abha Opalina (WH Justice x Om el Amira Estopa) and Las Vegas 2011 Reservechampion Aria Tresor IA.
